firm profile
the office of oyler wu collaborative was established by dwayne oyler and jenny wu in new york, ny in 2001, and is currently based in los angeles, ca.
our practice is founded on the idea that the process of interpreting context, along with its inherent cultural, programmatic, and spatial complexities, is fundamental to our work. given that belief, our approach to each project is unique, and grows out of a desire to understand and exploit the broad range of characteristics that are latent in every existing condition. These conditions are found in the sites we build on, the programmatic requirements we encounter, and the individuals that will ultimately become a part of the architectural experience.
this website was designed with the intention of extracting key components of our design process, in order to give visitors an insight into not only the projects themselves, but also the essential strategies that we employ in their creation.
